Pinot Noir blend of fruit from eight different Willamette vineyards. Beautiful organic-based nose of mushroom, tobacco, lavender and freshly turned wet soil. Just a bit of dark cherry. The pallet is light with black cherry, cranberry and black raspberry fruit with some notes of cola and spice. Light color and body. Elegant. Excellent QPR for a Willamette Pinot. An unusual partnership between oak/vanilla (sweet) and bitterness >in a good way. Interesting wine! 85% Merlot 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 19 months in American and French oak. There is an oak/ vanilla sweetness with great fruity berries on the front & midpalate which transitions to a cocoa powder, black licorice, anise bitterness to a long finish. Very smooth, Medium+ bodied. Fun to decipher! My Costco..$10! We went through gas line 1st...loving this! — 25 days ago
This wine has a deep purple hue with developing notes of crème de cassis, blackberry, black cherry; also pencil shavings, cedar, tobacco, toast, clove, black olive, forest floor, and leather.
Tannins are fine grain, velveteen, and smooth.
It’s not a fruit bomb, but it’s a pop-and-pour; delicious today with potential for further aging. — 15 days ago
2016 vintage was a great year weather wise in Washington State and British Columbia, Canada.
This wine is 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon.
Super ripe blackberry, violets and tobacco on the nose.
Bold and structured with rich raspberry, blackberry, dark chocolate and baker’s spice on the smooth well developed tannins on the finish.
There is a lot of oak here but it is developing well.

This is a very tasty Riesling from Napa Valley.
Medium-bodied with medium-plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
This 6 year old is showing lemons, yellow apples, petrol, plastic, cream, earth, minerals, herbs, sea salt and white pepper.
I had it a year ago, and it seems like it is less fruit forward now.
Spicy and entertaining. Good by itself or with food. Showing nice complexity and better when not too cold.
12.8% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Further improved on day 2.
Lots of oak treatment on the nose and palate. Tannins are still quite robust, along with the acidity. Best Lamborn in a while. Drink or hold this vintage. — 10 days ago
