Nice Barbera d’Alba from Massolino di Serralunga. Paired it with snails. Had it with Davide, mom and dad in Novello d’Alba — 9 months ago
Ha peso di freschezza. Ma rimane godibile — 2 years ago
A bold fruity nose of goji berries, raspberry, long leaf pine and candied red fruits. The flavors are bold and lingering fruit, with a gentle tannin, and vegetal finish. Gentle sweetness on the start and Mid palate, with a pale red color of raspberry jam. — 4 years ago
Grapes deepening the apples in this cofermentation, with rose flagrances — 7 months ago
I did not know this grape variety before this bottle. Nascetta is native to Langhe and was only revived in the mid 90’s.
Nose is quite aromatic and has somewhat unusual combination of peach, kiwi, banana peel, honeysuckle, light fresh herbs and hint of jasmine. Medium acidity and round mouth feel. Finish is clean but a bit short.
Can’t really come up with an analogy between Nascetta and other white grape variety. — 10 months ago

“Ana’s-Cëtta” is the white #Nascetta wine by @elviocogno who helped bring the variety back from near extinction in the 1990s in the commune of Novello, #Langhe, #Piedmont.
The 2022 delivers aromas of honeysuckle, white peach, verbena and Mediterranean herbs. Apple, pear, quince and pineapple flavors then come into play. This quickly followed by a waxy texture, balanced by lime zest, with notions of crushed minerals on the finish.
The winery suggests it is “ideal as an accompaniment to vegetable dishes, white meats, raw fish, oysters and creamy cheeses.” Maybe not as ideal, but paired with rigatoni, sausage and fennel allowed some contrast to expose and heighten many of the sensations…BRAVO! — 3 months ago
