History dates back to 1995 when on a lark, David Swift Phinney took a friend up on an offer & went to Florence, Italy to spend a semester “studying”. During that time, he was introduced to wine, how it was made, & got hooked. A Grenache, Syrah & Petite Sirah blend. Aromas of fresh ripe red fruits with floral & spice. On the palate flavors of cherry & raspberry with cacao & espresso notes on sweet savory soft tannins, well balanced, lingering finish ending with fruit & toasty oak. Nice! Consistent Quality! — a month ago
This is one of my go to wines because it’s classic and goes well with many things. More in the oakier side and slightly heavy but I love the buttery flavor. — 2 days ago

Austin Hope is excellent every time. This went perfectly with the filet mignon for my 57th birthday at our favorite spot, Hannah’s steakhouse in Rancho Santa Margarita. With good friends, the Noce’s. — 2 months ago
Lots of tropical fruit along with grapefruit. Delicious with food - reminded me of when I visited the winery nearly 20 years ago. — 12 days ago
Monday night pull. Idiot friend wanted wine with burgers. He said “it’s red meat”. Meh, rather have a coke. Good juice. Cork was soft. Enjoyable but maybe better sooner? I won’t know. — 4 days ago
