Riesling, not Gewurtztraminer. Very good Riesling from the finger lakes - Eli’s find. @Eli Barton — 17 days ago
Salty, acid, green apple, lime — 15 days ago
Fresh honeycrisp apple, pear, melon and lemon zest. Hint of petrol with nice floral notes as well. Medium minus body and medium plus acid. My favorite Finger Lakes Riesling so far! — a month ago
2023 - Now owned by LMH the style has somewhat reverted to the herbaceous style of the 90s that made it famous, so pleasant surprise- citrus, melon, lime, and grasses- like it
One of the earlier ratings is 10 and several 7.2, so overall rating is skewed to lower side
Delectable needs to eliminate these outliers to make average ratings meaningful — a day ago
Crisp, medium body, not oaky or buttery, paired wonderfully with Oysters. — 13 days ago
Presented to me double blind, powerful peach and pineapple fruit cup with jalapeño and bright citrus fruit. Acid was medium+ and so was alcohol. I was between Riesling from Wachau or Sauvignon Blanc…when with the Austria call. Dang…Kim Crawford is making some fun wines with Loveblock. Drink now with hedonism. — a month ago
best sauvy b i’ve ever had. delightfully crisp without being too acidic! — 9 days ago
A mid straw yellow in colour. Aromas are lemon and lime, lemongrass, mineral, wet hay with toastiness and lanolin starting to emerge at 13 years of age. Light bodied but great intensity - a richer texture for a Semillon, bearing in mind that this wine sees no oak at all - stainless steel all the way. Only 11% alcohol. Luckily I have 4 bottles left - a cellar life extending to 2030+. — 24 days ago
Delicious and balanced! No tannins. Magically complimented my savory course and stepped forward with distinct tropical notes with my dessert course. — a month ago
