I’ve had both La Muse and La Joie so I was happy to get to try Le Désir. I think I like this cab franc dominated blend the best. The nose is floral with green fresh notes. On the palate it’s rich, full bodied with a luxurious velvety texture. Dark fruit, bell pepper, spices, licorice with powdery tannins that starts to melt into the wine completely. Starting to hit its peak. — 3 years ago
Earth and leather in this strong Pinot Noir. The palette is subdued but the muse is strong. A good wine with steak. — 7 years ago
Fruity and fun! — 8 years ago
Premiere Napa Valley bottling of Terrace Reserve. This Farella was opened with some really good company (07 Lokoya Veeder, 07 Verite Muse, 07 Revana), and IMO it was either 1 or 2. The nose of this one reveals some black and blue fruits. Entry of this wine has blackberry power, but then settles to more of a truffle and black tar in the middle. Gives way to herbal notes which gives this wine a very good complexity that really outdid the Lokoya and the Revana which were more about Napa fruit-forward power (was very similar in style to the Verite quite honestly). Finish has resolving tannins. Toasted oak finish although still rather tannic for its age. This wine is drinking very well right now, and probably is in the prime drinking window for the next 3-4 years. If you have these, drink 'em up or let them sit but not too long! — 8 years ago

Even better than the 2017 More fruit. — 4 years ago
Heavy, rich tannery, leather, cigar smoke, hot cinnamon. Plums.
Woah, reminds me why I love this region. Not the most rounded Vacqueyras I’ve had, but definitely got the smokey, rich, spicy, full body notes I love, paired with an incredibly silky mouthfeel.
Intense fruits of blackberry, raspberry, plums. Moderate to high acidity works well here with the intense jams. — 6 years ago
The term ‘L’Egerie’ is French for ‘muse’ as Chris Peterson has crafted another stunning new Rose wine, blending 65% Grenache and 35% Mourvedre. Showing off its beautiful pale color, the wine opens with really good aromatic range, from salted Marcona almond to ripe strawberry, as well as melon and shades of Mandarin orange zest that all combine on the nose. The silky texture truly entices and collects momentum with the wonderful bright minerality of the wine. Elegant, yet showing good depth, the wine unveils bright red raspberry, strawberry and honeydew melon flavors that connect with the great sense of minerality. This finishes extremely long. Try to get your hands on this while it lasts. Drink 2019-2026- 92 — 7 years ago

White fruit and flowers on the nose, very delicate, so on the palate with a beautiful muse. Very refreshing, revigorating and with that mineral feeling that calls for the next glass. — 9 years ago

Blessed to celebrate 20 years of blissful marriage and 30 years total of togetherness, and she still takes my breath away daily. God definitely pulled all my ribs to create the muse who is my wife. Forever in love. Can’t wait to see how the next 20 unfolds. Oh yeah, ofcourse we are celebrating with our fav wine...never disappoints — 6 years ago
If you want to test you tolerance for strange wines or you are a wine geek 🤓 this is it. Very much like an oxidized Jura wine made from the savagnin grape but this is Albarin not Albariño! Tastes like a sherry at first. Super nutty and corky but not corked! Kind of like grape cider. Bracing acidity. Drink this by itself and muse over the flavor for hours. Or pair it with stinky cheeses Goat, aged Taleggio a blue cheese etc. . This is not a wine for a dinner party with friends. I actually think cheese screws up our palate but this wine can take it! Bottle 447 of 670 made. An experience but only for the brave. Only available from Max Kogod in the US. — 8 years ago

"Odedi"
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim. Not showing much age.
Beautiful and complex nose with black plums, black currants, black cherry compote, cedar, light vanilla, licorice, dark chocolates, black tea, tobacco leaf, earth, dark coffee and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, earth, tobacco leaf, peppercorn, herbs and mediterranean spices.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This 13 year old Merlot still feels young, but already gorgeous. Elegant and nicely balanced, with great complexity, especially on the nose. Feels like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon at this point.
Still showing lots of fruits with big tannins to carry it for the long haul. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Has good potential to become a 96 point wine.
Needs 30 minutes in the glass to open up properly.
Robert Parker 100 points.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
A blend of 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec. Aged in all new French oak barrels for 15 months.
14.1% alcohol by volume.
94 points.
