Blessed to celebrate 20 years of blissful marriage and 30 years total of togetherness, and she still takes my breath away daily. God definitely pulled all my ribs to create the muse who is my wife. Forever in love. Can’t wait to see how the next 20 unfolds. Oh yeah, ofcourse we are celebrating with our fav wine...never disappoints — 4 years ago
2014 vintage. Seems more refined than the 2013 vintage, but I drank this during a brunch with great company in the best Lebanese restaurant in Paris (Qasti by Michelin-starred chef Alan Geeam who opened this highly recommended Lebanese bistro last year, aiming to revisit his native cuisine), so don't take my word for it! In any case it's a highly enjoyable wine. — 3 years ago
Heavy, rich tannery, leather, cigar smoke, hot cinnamon. Plums.
Woah, reminds me why I love this region. Not the most rounded Vacqueyras I’ve had, but definitely got the smokey, rich, spicy, full body notes I love, paired with an incredibly silky mouthfeel.
Intense fruits of blackberry, raspberry, plums. Moderate to high acidity works well here with the intense jams. — 5 years ago
I’ve had both La Muse and La Joie so I was happy to get to try Le Désir. I think I like this cab franc dominated blend the best. The nose is floral with green fresh notes. On the palate it’s rich, full bodied with a luxurious velvety texture. Dark fruit, bell pepper, spices, licorice with powdery tannins that starts to melt into the wine completely. Starting to hit its peak. — 2 years ago
2007 vintage. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. Take your time or decant, as these wines open up beautifully with air. After an hour in the glass, this 2007 seems to be in a perfect place today. Amarena cherries, cedar wood, herbs and dark chocolate, all balanced by fresh acidity. Could be mistaken for California. Superior to the Château Kefraya 2007, because of the quality of the tannins. Abv. 13 %. Incredible value at 20 euros. Too bad I could only get one bottle of this. Note: this wine is only produced in the best vintages: 2004, 2007 and 2010. The next vintages, yet to be released, will be 2015 and 2017. — 5 years ago
