Il Principe Langhe Nebbiolo 2020

Light bodied, dry and semi-sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Paired well with an eggplant parmesan dinner as it balanced out the sweetness of the red sauce. — 4 months ago

Il Burchino Toscana SuperTuscan Blend 2010

Cherries and toasted oak with a silky medium body mouth feel. The hint of tannic bite is more pronounced now than the last time I had this bottle. Very nice. Glad I have another in the rack — 2 months ago

v12. This is really good! Soft, smoked, candied Black Cherry nose. Juicy, rich, dark black cherry and a touch of tar fruit. Long, slightly dry, pepper and mocha finish. Very good! — 3 months ago

Reyna Barbaresco Nebbiolo 2019

Dark cherry, earth, and pepper aromas. Smooth as silk with a nice long finish. Always loved their Moscato di Asti and now know they do an excellent Barbaresco! — 2 months ago

La Court Barbera d'Asti Superiore

v10. Lucky me, I don’t know why I still have a v10, but it is fantastic. I will take a chance and call it “ at peak”. Cork came out clean. Solid purple color. Soft, pleasing bacon nose. Bright cherry, and dark black cherry fruit medley. Smooth, slightly tart, but round, zippy, mocha finish. Nicely balanced. Would not share ! — 3 months ago
