The description: The colour is salmon, light pink rose. The aromas show fresh strawberries, cranberry and hints of white pepper. The palate is where the romance is. The texture is crisp almost crunchy, which brings out the fresh strawberry and red tree fruit characters. This wines truly refreshes the palate… and soul.

2007 vintage. Opened around 50 degrees. Decanted and kept in the 58-62 degree range with the decanter placed atop an (mostly) ice bath. Tasted after 25 minutes and 4.5 hours. Heavy body. Brought back from winery. Cork fell apart but no issues. Blueberry coffee nose with bursting fruit and subtle tannins and vanilla. . Great mouthful. Would rate higher if less oak taste but delicious. WS said through 2022 but not over hill. — 6 months ago
