Took a long time to open after 20 years. Plenty of Brett influence, but on the leather side, not unpleasant. Rich, dark cherry, fairly thin body, tannins are super mellow at this point. — 5 months ago
Gorgeous. Luscious fruit, structure still intact, tannins have mellowed but plenty of grip remains. Acid balance is on point. Long rich finish. Could easily go another 5+ — 2 years ago
Lacking balance. Light color. Lean palate. Moderate tannin. Leather, dried apple and dried cherries. Interesting but disjointed. Maybe I waited too long…? — 3 months ago
Lush fruit, good balance, great choice of oak. Very well done. Showing beautifully now but likely has another 5-8 yrs. — 4 months ago
Tannins are still pretty burly. Needs another 5-10 yrs. — 7 months ago
Dense and ripe. Nice barrel tones - prominent but well integrated. Rich dark fruit finish. Showing well and still has plenty of time/life left. — 3 months ago
Lovely apple and yeast notes. Showing a touch of age and oxidation, but still rich and luscious. — 3 months ago
Still holding up well. Many years left. Beautiful acid, balanced tannin. — 7 months ago
Bright tart fruit still going strong. Slightly unbalanced - feels like too much acid was added - overly tart for Red Mtn. That said, this is a beautiful wine, especially with red meat. Drinking great now and has many years left. — 2 years ago

Sweet dark fruits, nice oak contribution and integration, mellow round mouthfeel, bright and balanced acidity. Excellent new world take on classic Bordeaux blend. Old world stylings with new world ripeness. — 3 months ago
