Cured smoked meat. Crushed violets and raspberries. Leather. Firm tannins and medium finish — 7 days ago
Great white wine — 18 days ago
Nice recommendation from the local wine shop. Pretty much as advertised.
45+ min decant. Dark red color. Nose has medicinal tones, gasoline, and prunes. Wine is thick and tannic with cherries and rhubarb. Age served this well. Finish is thin and has some weird tequila elements. Not my style. — 4 days ago
Very nice loving it — 4 days ago
A deep inhale of cedar and tabac.
A touch of saline with great fruits here, mulberry, dark raspberry, alpine strawberry. Some heft to the body, and a completely beautiful integration of the tannins from the grape skin contact, the oak tannins, the persimmon acidity. Hints of coffee linger.
This is a philosophical wine, one to really think about. Love these. — a month ago
Wow 8-26-20 we liked but don’t remember much else. Need to try again! — 5 days ago
Juicy, red berry — 11 days ago
The Tabarrini Montefalco Sagrantino ages 18 months in casks, 18 months in small barrels and 18 months in the bottle before its release. This is an absolute minimum to tame its tannines. The wine is dark, dense and a mouthful! Its firm structure is accompanied by cherry, plum, and black berry. Age worthy still! — a month ago
