been six years since I tired this last ~ hasn’t faded much!
barnyard funk quickly blew off revealing menthol, mulled berries, carob and suede
a core of crunchy berry fruit was piercing ~ cherry lozenges and liqueur, cassis, cranberry, raspberry candy ~ JUICY ~ some star anise and mace on the finish — 25 days ago
Very floral with notes of cantaloupe. Soft feel on the mouth initially with slight acidity at the end. Well-balanced wine. — a month ago
Earth, herbal, dried flowers, cranberry, pencil led, blueberries, Needs time! — a day ago
Aired 1hr in bottle; still needed a little time to open up in the glass, but lovely red fruit and light, silky texture. Built to last and glad I have more. — 5 days ago
2019 very palatable. Definitely buying again. — 21 hours ago
2005. Portobello, loamy soil, blackberry, black cherry, violets, oyster shell, black peppercorn, grilled beef on the nose. Black and red currant, slight grapiness, cedar bark, pencil, black olive, wheat toast, fine tabac, clove, red cherry. Pointy in places, but really holding together in terms of age.

Sipping Fine Wine
First tried about a year ago. A blend of 72% Cab Sauv, 27% Merlot and 1% Cab Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of black fruit and floral aromas. On the palate blackberry, currant and plum flavors with cacao and oak notes. Fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish, good balance ending with fruit, earthy herbs and cedar notes. — 5 days ago
