Castillo Ygay Reserva Especial Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2018

Blend of 86% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, 4% Mazuelo (Cariñena) and 2% Garnacha, grapes and various plots fermented separately, aged for 20 months in American oak, then blended. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit, sweet oak and spice. Nice! ‘17 a bit better! — 2 months ago

Dalmau Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2016

Vintage 2016 | Absolutely beautiful, st Julien frivolity, very intens and perfumed | paired with Boeuf Bourguignon | I did not recognize / determine this as Rioja, was obsessed with left bank Bordeaux in my head. Wine of the Night. For me unknown, but o man so good. — 13 days ago

Vidonia Viñas Viejas Valle de la Orotava Listan Blanco 2020

Lovely. Thought it was a Chablis in our blind. Very mineral-driven, bright, and textural. I thought it had a touch of oxidative musk, but it didn’t detract from the quality of the wine. One to revisit. — 24 days ago
