You never know what you will get with wines from lesser known places. But Georgia has been a wine making country for hundreds and even thousands of years. Saperevi is a signature grape from there and other parts of Eastern Europe. It can be rather intense but this version is super refined, smooth and tasty. Really worth seeking out. — 4 months ago

Me: Nice smell; not too aromatic or overwhelming. Light tart on the swish in the mouth. Has a soft linger on the swallow and lasts a few seconds. I forgot to say, the bottle is badass (2023)!
Wife doesn’t like the smell. Taste is ok. Wife says don’t get again. 😆
That said, we normally drink heavy cabs; especially me so others who like semi-sweets would probably say we’re crazy.
We also didn’t pair this with anything.
Also, first time I’ve ever had a wine from the country of Georgia. — 21 days ago

Light straw color. Aromas and flavors of peach, yellow apple, white flowers, apricots, white pepper and green melon. Very long and crisp mineral/saline driven finish. A bit of heft and grip. Bright, fresh and thirst quenching. — 19 days ago
