The nose is evocative of autumn on multiple sensory levels, with aromas of fennel fronds, chamomile tea, almonds, and tangerine that lead into a full but delicately rendered palate. Vitorchiano’s volcanic soils come through with a somber smoke-iron interplay, and glowing acidity lets the savory flavors coat the mouth, yet the overall impression is one of freshness and drinkability. — 21 days ago
Tenia algo en nariz que no podia identificar, aunque era familiar, y no me encantaba. 14.5% de abv. En boca mucho mas balanceado con un post-gusto largo. Taninos persistentes. El olor misterioso - Diet Cherry Coke? 🍒 - not a fan. — 22 days ago
Second wine still quite young, decant for sure and purple fruit comes alive in the glass. Robust acidity, spice on finish along with fine tannins. #toscana — a month ago
In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! Tasting well now! — 3 days ago
Birthday wine! Thanks Loren!

Dark ruby color. Nose is floral, rose, red fruit and some strong cedar. High acid, astringent and tannic upon opening. Better after 2 hours of air. Pepper, tart dark fruit. This will improve with age. — a month ago

Young Masseto for breakfast. That’s a first and one for the books. Cheers. — 10 days ago
