Fruity aroma. Beautiful inky black. Big bodied, but somewhat sour finish. — a day ago

A shy fruit nose,, a nod of the high heat.
Two meet, and the dance begins.
One has all the colors, red and black raspberries, pomegranate stem of rose.
The other, dapper with black - anise, mint, earth and stone. A step from one and a step from the other, a flit of the skirt, a tip of the hat, a bow, a kiss, a dip, , a spin, a tango of the fruit and tannins, the herbaceous and acidity. Plucked from the dance floor a touch too early, with many dances left.
Such is the life of wine in my cellar.

Sometimes you visit friends at restaurants and sometime STUPID people leave behind some Krug (morons) and you friend gives you a sip of their discarded magic. So...everything. I forever love Krug. Dunno if I love it or Dom Ruinart better I guess it depends on the style I desire. — a day ago
D9. Enjoyed at Monsieur Paul at the French showcase of Epcot. Food was fantastic and this wine hit it out of the park. Called the night before and paid for the bottle using a little Disney magic. It was open for a few hours last night, recorked, and opened upon arrival. Whoa Daddy. Love Nuits St Georges when it's firing on all cylinders. The nose is dirty raspberry, black cherry, black tea, mint, peppery, and you could almost envision the soil that gave life to these grapes. The entry has all of these things, with the middle gaining some dates and tobacco. Hint of herb. Finishes with a lot of youthful tannin despite being extremely expressive for what this one is. I don't think this bottle was incredibly expensive, but it really killed tonight. Drink or hold for a decade. — 7 days ago
