Reddish tawny, dark and almost opaque. Bright nose. Notes of black fruit, cranberries, pepper, granite, dry hay and some light herby menthol. Nice richness in the mouth. Not over the top. Refined. Still seems young. Doesn’t have the magic of better vintages but very nice nonetheless. Can probably improve with a bit more age.

Nose almost cabernetlike. Good acidity , mature, outstanding soft tannins, leather, cigar box. Subtle for a very masculine wine. Privilege to drink.
