Cuvée W Livermore Valley Chardonnay 2001

An improvement over the CH cuvee, darker and more focused with less of everything which in the end makes more. - at LBC — 11 days ago

2001? Last vintage? Maan...had some great Semillion, Sauvvie B's and especially Chards from them over the years but it's been forever since I've even seen one. None of the Pinots ever did it for me tho *sad face.*

Wente Vineyards

The Nth Degree Livermore Valley Merlot 2018

Dark ruby color. Blend of fruit from two different vineyards. Touch of Petite Syrah is added. Beautiful aromatics and flavors of cooked ripe red and blue berries, cloves and chocolate. Lush and full but medium bodied with a very soft tannin (velvety smooth) structure. Excellent bottle! — 3 years ago

Murrieta's Well

Small Lot Livermore Valley Merlot 2016

This Merlot-heavy blend (5% Cabernet Sauvignon) has a generous nose of smoke and dark fruit. The palate is rich with black cherry, mocha, vanilla and floral notes. Tannins are firm enough, but the sipping is still easy. It’s a really good, single-vineyard Merlot that deserves a hot ribeye.
