Ordered directly from the winery. Stone fruit, vanilla, lemon, cherries. — a year ago
2022 is drinking so perfectly. Full rich crushed dark fruits with a slight earthy smoky core. Blows me away. — a year ago
A little linear but pretty and lifted nose of small berries, orchard apple, lemon rind. Beautiful effervescence and acidity. A little better at the end perhaps a sign of warm vintage but good effort regardless. — 5 years ago
Medium golden color. Very expressive aromas of rose petals, honeysuckle, melon, orchids and Asian spices. Flavors of apricot, peaches, tropical fruit, honey and ginger. Nice touches of mandarin orange and minerals on the long and elegant finish. Pleasant viscous/oily texture. Subtle acidity but still very well balanced. So complex, concentrated and bold but also very harmonious. — 7 months ago
One of the best bottles in the longest time, balanced body and tannins, plenty of fruit with that peppery finish — a year ago

@Delectable Wine Why is there so much shouting on this label? I mean it's great, but I prefer understated 😉. — 3 years ago

Nice wine for Thanksgiving dinner. Dark color. Needed at least one hour to open up. Chocolate and cherries, — 7 months ago

Dark inky in color with a reddish rim.
Nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, light mildew, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, light forest floor and black pepper.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Very dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn, earth, dried meats, black tea and light vegetables.
Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 19 year old Syrah from Northern Rhône is still drinking nicely, although definitely not at its peak anymore.
Not in your face kind of wine at this point. Elegant, with nice complexity. Interesting, and still powerful.
Mildew and forest floor notes start to disappear after 90 minutes in the decanter. Still showing some fruit notes though, which is nice to see.
Good by itself or with food.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Singing now but plenty of stuffing to go the distance — 2 years ago
Day 2 notes. Nose of blueberry and blackberry, granite and graphite. Dark and rich but super mineral as well. Palate is energetic and fresh but also dark and rich with blackberry and blueberry galore. Young and disjointed as it was yesterday but it’s all there. Check back in 5 years — 3 years ago
Turn key delicious. You can think on it too though. — 5 years ago

Really enjoyed. Quite vinous while giving you everything you’d want in a relatively entry level champagne - but much more interesting than it needs to be. — 5 months ago
