Carbonic, funky, fruity and spicy. A real excellent wine that exemplifies the Loire Valley. — 4 years ago

Love this stuff! — 8 years ago
Young, local wine (staying in Monpazier) made east of Bergerac, an excellent recommendation from hotel owner Edward 1er, medium bodied, slight tannins, needs a little room temp, but truly excellent suprise and goes into top 20.... — 9 years ago
Intense Côtes du Rhône with high tannin and medium acidity, enjoyed with fois gras at Mistral restaurant in Boston — 2 months ago
Funky stuff. Picasso, I like it. — 7 months ago
@Delectable Wine - This is the “Soleil de Brulhie” cuvée. medium intensity nose on pop-n-pour, with pure, dark cherry, crushed granite, and a vague but pleasant whiff of parmigiano rind. Intense and large-framed in the mouth. More acids, tannin, and alcohol than expected. The fruit is there, but this not as friendly a style as the usual cru. Lots of minerality and a bone dry finish. Would go very well with a winter beef stew. — 3 years ago
Dark ruby color, nose with accents of "Blue Stones" rather black cherry, accompanied by toasted melted notes of aging. The third dimension is driven by evolution and its many very Burgundian nuances (roasting, undergrowth, pot-pourri). Semi-light body although quite intense and concentrated, The finish is of a beautiful length, carried by fleshy and coated aging tannins.
— 4 years ago

Always delicious 😍🇫🇷🍾 — 9 years ago
Dark ruby in color with medium intensity.
Red fruits on the nose with tobacco and chocolate notes.
Dry on the palate with red and black fruits, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf and herbs.
Nice finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a very tasty Mourvedre based blend from Bandol. Rich and elegant, fruity and interesting. Complex and well balanced.
Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 70% Mourvedre and 30% Grenache, from 30 year old vines. Aged in large French oak barrels for 18 months. Unfiltered and unfined.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Great wine. Full bodied but not overly heavy. Tastes of fruits and spices with hints of licorice. Paired with pistachio crusted rack of lamb perfectly! $28 — 2 years ago
A day opened from another dinner, and shared during our cheese course. Honestly didn't focus much on this wine after the insane Comté and 13' Les Chalasses Marnes Bleues pairing. Plus, let's not forget about the battering of Rieslings that came before. One taste and I knew this just didn't have a fighting chance during the night. Too rich and creamy to match the energy of the Rieslings, yet not quite rich enough to match the 09' Lafon Perrieres. Nothing wrong per say, but it was just so average among the other wines of the night. Another one to look into again on better circumstances. — 4 years ago
At noble rot soho in non lockdown September 2020 long lunch, deep earthy Grenache that drank well with game. Wonderful. — 6 years ago
Pleasing expression, with a forward bouquet of violets, crushed rose, orange peel, red cherry, and raspberry, following through to a medium palate of red fruit and salinity, with a touch of orange rind. Serve slightly chilled and it’s perfect with a leg of lamb or hanger steak — 8 years ago

Can a wine be simple and complex? Earthy with a fine line of VA and some bret. Crunchy cherries, mint, soil. But also just fresh and juicy and 13% abv. — 17 days ago
