Lovely. Soft, velvety tannins. Great fruit acid balance. — 3 months ago
This is in such an enjoyable spot at the moment, full of dried fruits and tertiary notes, this is medium bodied, fine and resolved tannin, with med+ aroma and flavor intensity. Fruit that tastes partially dried but has some primary character, cassis, currants and black cherry mingle with mint and baking spice notes, subtle notes of oak weave seamlessly into the bouquet and palate. Light and fruity, great paired with white fish… — 2 months ago
First vintage wine from my birth year. I’m a Port lover, what can I say… This is spectacular, 42 year old vintage Port with amazing structure and all the right components coming through; almond, honey, butterscotch, slight acidity and minerality. Wow. Just wow. — 3 months ago
Founded in 1982 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer and sits on a tree covered knoll overlooking the Napa Valley, with caves that extend for over a mile. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruit with sweet oak spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of ripe peach, melon and apple, with vanilla spice, rich & creamy. Long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with mineral notes — a month ago
Sour, not that dry of a finish but really smooth. Tastes fresh/bright. — 3 months ago
