Beautiful Pauillac. Although it would be better in five years it is still ready to drink now. Powerful Bordeaux with strong Cabernet Sauvignon. — 17 days ago
Blood orange and cloves as well as cherries in the nose. A bit of vanilla as it opens up. Tastes of tangerine and clove with a sweet cherry after taste. — 8 days ago
Fab length and lovely limey/tropical finish into savoury. Not bone dry. Delicious. Would age — 25 days ago
Probably my favorite rosé — 24 days ago
Medium deep garnet ruby with a narrow garnet rim . Dusty grafite , cedar and cassis , currants , oyster shell , quite deep and classic . On the palate this is quite dense and tannic still , deep dark cassis , herbal tinged cedar and very grafite tinged on the finish . Fresh acidity , but still good mid palate richness and even though the tannins are quite dry and grippy , this is well balanced and relatively generous . Good length on the classic grafite , oyster shell tinged finish. This didn’t need a lot of decanting time to show well , though it certainly changes and improves with time in the glass . Classic in style , but still quite generous for Latour , this is just reaching its drinking window , will continue at this level for another 5-10 years at least and probably more. — 14 days ago
This is the Ode to Lulu Mourvèdre Rose (back label says that it’s “ancient vines” grown on sand, so maybe mostly CCC fruit?). The color so pale as to almost resemble a skin contact “orange” white wine. Nose is all fruit. Nectarine, strawberry, an orange-zest thing too. Dry and so gulpable. Dangerous on a warm and humid afternoon! — 17 days ago
Phenomenal wine. Tannins are completely softened with dark fruits. Incredibly enjoyable. The 2009 still going strong 17 years later. This can easily stay in bottle another 5-10 years. — a month ago
Delicate peach, and a hint of bubble gum and lightly herbaceous on the nose. Nice acidity. Fresh and lovely. — a month ago
2023. Complex red fruit, floral, herbal, mineral, almost savory and saline. Opened to have while preparing dinner and with some caprese salad, but we ended up having some left to have with our grilled steak and asparagus with which it paired surprisingly well. — 2 months ago
1/2 hour decant(decent fine sediment). A striking dark ruby red with bricking. On the nose: Captivating notes of dark fruit, forest floor, worn leather, mushroom, cigar, smoked meat, some bandaid(brett). Taste: silky, classic, elegant wine with dried red berries, currants, tobacco, saline, minerals and a cedar graphite long dry finish. YUM! What a thrill to drink tonight! — 16 days ago

I have not had many DP Rose’s. On the nose, extremely expressive scents of red fruits & flowers. One of the most powerful champagnes I have tasted. I felt like my taste buds were being held hostage by various red fruit and acid. An unapologetic finish that handcuffed my mouth.. — 3 days ago
