12/24 superb dry champagne. 91 — 9 days ago
Orange , onion skin in colour. Orange rind , spices, vanilla, roasted nuts, seaside hints . On the palate intense and with high acidity , lemon and orange rind, caramel hints . Long and complex on the finish , very balanced. I would imagine this is in its drinking window , and will continue to drink well for a further 5-8 years — 5 days ago
Really pretty. Strawberry, rose petals, toast, minerality, peach, baked apple and great acid. Awesome with sushi. — 3 days ago

October 2020 disgorgment is always so perfect, a particular favorite, with immense depth of red berry fruit and chalky minerality, a chiseled palate with singular texture and a finish that keeps on going. VO base with a touch of still Pinot from Francis Egly. Nothin’ like it 👑 — 9 days ago

Let’s explore this 2009 Clos de La Maréchale!
It’s medium ruby with garnet around the rim. The nose is positively perfumed with notes of violet, rose, boysenberry, mulberry, ripe black cherry, kirsch, clove, cedar, vanilla, cardamom, anise, chervil, fennel fronds, leather, crushed stone, forest floor, tobacco, peat moss, and mushroom.
On the palate this wine is dry with medium (+) acidity, a medium body, high alcohol (14% ABV), flavors are concentrated and consistent with the nose. It has a lingering finish.
It’s multifaceted, vibrant, layered and delicious – cheers to exploring the world of wine one sip at a time! — 4 days ago
