Pas une année de garde mais tres agréable pomerol avec menu de chasse — 3 years ago
🏅 Rating 92/100 (4,2⭐)
Bright yellow colour. Open and inviting with sweet ripe aromas of yellow fruits and hints of medicinal herbs. Stony mineral on the palate with a long slightly saline finish.
Les Combettes is in the top league of Puligny 1er Crus sitting on the same mid-slope as Montrachet Grand Cru, but on the opposite Northern side of the village bordering with Meursault. This vineyard lies just below Champ-Canet and almost touches Comte Lafon's plot in Charmes 1er Cru in Meursault.

45 ans et un bouchon récupérable Crus bourgeois encore puissant et très élégant — 6 days ago
PnP’d. Should have given an hour decant. Medium red color. Is a cross between Pinot, Cab, and a Spanish red. Mix the Aubert Pinot I had the other night and Pontet Canet and you get close. Bright red fruit with plenty of oak. Perfect drinking age!! What a great gift and surprise!! Thanks Malcolm! — 3 years ago
Neal never stops impressing!!! Would have guessed Bordeaux all the way. 1hr+ decant. Nose of dark cherries, cedar, and menthol. Blue and black fruit on the palate with well integrated alcohol. Medium depth and medium plus finish. Reminds me of Chateau Pontet-Canet but 1/5 of the price. Neal rocks!! — 3 years ago

Opened the bottle several hours in advance. Great tannic structure, still lots of fruit and some secondary flavors; nothing tertiary yet. Try again in a few years but great now — 13 days ago
