We let us breathe in the botte for six hours. So smooooooth. — 6 years ago
I thought this was the weakest of the Nebb during the night. Having said that, it was pure and balanced. Just lacking the stuffing of the others around it. Would drink it anyday!
NB: This is a declassified Barbaresco Straderi because Olek was in trouble with cash flow while finishing the construction of the new cellar; he decided to release this gem one year earlier! Long maceration in cement, aged in a large slavonian botte. — 7 years ago
After the faulty botte 5 months ago, the wineshop owner replaced the bottle 👍
Nice nose with apricot, ripe peach, acacia blossom, nice fruity palate with the same fruit flavors, also some lemon, chalky mineral and spice, fine acidity, young but already drinking beautiful ! 91 DSP — 8 years ago
Complex aromatic nose full of dusty cherries, kirsch, plums, prune jam, Balsamico, leather, some earthy & mushroomy notes and gingerbread and tons of exotic spices. On the palate very smooth, a touch liquory, with the tannins perfectly integrated and a long spice finish. Brilliant acidity, too.
Stunning! A perfect example of a meditation wine.

Fantastic funk. A little bret in the best way. — 6 years ago

Wow. Never had a dolcetto like this - biodynamic production with 20 days of maceration with spontaneous fermentation (without temperature control) followed by 3 years in large Slovenian botte AND THEN 4 years of bottle aging - this was a chewy, gamey wine with dark fruit. Not my favorite wine ever but such a surprise I really enjoyed it. — 8 years ago
setolo, ammorbidito da 12 mesi in botte che per fortuna non copre il carattere del vino — 3 years ago
Light but flavorful low-alcohol Italian quaffer. Excellent. — 5 years ago

Highly recommend - let it open up for 30 minutes and you will get a heavenly $45 bottle for $15. Secrete to let it open up ! — 7 years ago

Hits your nose like a boxing glove with a complex cocktail of kirsch & ripe blueberries with cloves and gingerbread, nutmeg and all the exotic spices you can name. Some nice earthy, mushroomy notes too, after some time.
On the palate surprisingly fresh (cold vintage) with high herby acidity. The tannins are slowly mellowing (20m in botte, no barriques). Very juicy and highly drinkable for a sfursat. A great wine. — 8 years ago
Light, fruity flavor. Perfect for what I was looking for! — 8 years ago

2020 is a terrific vintage for early drinking. And Sandri is such a wonderful winemaker. Visits with him are never less than three hours of intense discussion and sampling of all of his botte. He’s very generous and it shows in his wines. Great. — a year ago
