@Ira Schwartz The oak wasn’t too prominent, which was surprising since I’ve historically found Kongsgaard Chards to be too heavy and oaky for my taste. This one was much more balanced with good acidity, really enjoyable. I don’t know if it is a change in style or an outlier but I hope for the latter since I have friends on the list who subject me to Kongsgaard from time to time.

Little Bit Chardonnay 2022
2022 vintage. This is going places. Classy and sophisticated in a medium-heavy body package. Nice mineral flourish on the finish. Vineyard planted in 2006. 400 cases made. Heritage Shot Wente clone. Unfiltered and unfined. The fruit was picked by hand at night so there’s that. 11.15.24. — 6 days ago
I rarely buy from wineries anymore. I know a coupe wholesale sources and get sometimes get a professional discount. I haven’t paid more than $85 for this bottling.
Paying considerably less than all the prices thrown out in the comments.
