Greco Bianco has been cultivated in Calabria for well over two millennia, with roots tracing back to the arrival of Greek settlers in southern Italy during the era of Magna Graecia (“Greater Greece”). Today, it remains the historic backbone of Cirò Bianco and one of Italy’s oldest continuously cultivated indigenous white grapes.

This bottle was simply fun from the very first sip. I loved its coastal personality, saline finish, and the way it kept inviting another glass without ever becoming heavy. This is a good quality wine. Tasty and good by itself or with food. Very elegant, tangy and spicy.

Loved the nose here.

100% Viognier grapes were fermented in new French oak barrels, and then aged for 12 months.

Opened yesterday and it was too oaky and all over the place. 24 hours later it's settled and the wine is presenting itself in a much better way. It's even not bad at all! The nose shows blackberry, coconut, vanilla, oak, coffee, tar. The palate is very rounded with blackberry, cocoa and coffee notes, some width and almost a lactic touch. The tannins are well integrated now and leave a silky layer over the finish that goes on for a reasonable time. It's reminiscent of a nice Bordeaux except for that coconut scent on the nose. For about 11 USD in a supermarket nearby it's a steal! — 2 years ago

Pop and pour. A bit over a year and a half since my last btl. On the nose: alluring as ever with blackberry, blueeberry, vanilla, charcoal. On the palate, this seems a little less vibrant than I would like: good acid and fruit up front, but falls of quickly on the mid with finely grained, but attenuated tannin on the finish. This finally came together. This blend of Cab S, Merlot, San Giovese and Syrah is in a great spot.
Nose filled with sweet red fruit, ripe cherries and almond paste. The tanins are soft and the mouthfeel silky. Nice herb touch too. Paired with spaghetti with tomatoes/ preserved lemon/ honey/ cream sauce and that matched very very well. — 7 months ago

This is a very tasty Chardonnay from Lazio, Italy. Feels like a white Burgundy.

Showing nice complexity now, and feels young. Oaky and spicy. A good quality wine.

This 4 year old is easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months on the lees.
