surprisingly good, strong notes of bell pepper and light hints of raspberries. had my first wine dominant Carmenere (Kar-Men-Nair) — 3 years ago
full bodied with notes of plum and tarty finish and not smooth as hoped, little flat, and no depth of flavor. — 3 years ago
cherry undertones, medium bodied. — 3 years ago
most enjoyable Pinot Noir to-date. definitely notes of dark plum but this overwhelming flavor of something I can’t pinpoint. other reviewers get hints of lavender, hibiscus tea, or pomegranate notes. I do get slight peppery notes on the finish, very slight. love how it was medium bodied. — 3 years ago
Medium-bodied, plum / raspberry on the nose with a slight tarty/smokiness finish, which I typically don’t like but in this case I do. Interesting background, Lafite purchased this vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina using European techniques on South American terroir. Little aeration and wine is super plummy and jammy! — 3 years ago
medium bodied, plum and cherry on the nose, slight tart finish. best Super Tuscan at this price point to-date! — 3 years ago
random pick up at a liquor store before eating at Michael John’s restaurant in Florida. Cherry on the palate and I remember distinctively, not as much depth as one hoped. Very flat if you will. It didn’t help that the restaurant didn’t have good glasses either. — 3 years ago
amazing dark fruit with heavy ripe plum on the pallet with heavy smoky meat, a slight crack peppery finish. very smooth and long finish, one of the best Syrahs. — 3 years ago
medium/full bodied, not overly powering with dark fruits, subtle notes of cherry and peppers, decent but smooth finish. Grapes made of Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca, & Tinta Roriz. — 3 years ago
