Spice, maybe cinnamon, ginger, sweet raisins. Really nicely balanced. Tannins are good, moderate fruit, moderate acidity. — 2 years ago
Super luscious aroma, plum, smoke, char, chocolate. Taste it smokey but not spicy, burnt raisins and cherry. Little acid, and little tannin. The tannins actually emerge a bit letting the wine sit out, which in this case, is good. — 2 years ago
Large, tannic, tasty wine. Some anise and orange — 2 years ago
Good minerality, tastes like a Pinot Grigio to me. Moderate acidity, a touch bitter, well balanced. Aroma: Apple, grape, a touch of wood. — 2 years ago
Very dessert smelling, caramel smell. Low acidity, simple wine. Not bad — 2 years ago
Really unique wine. Lots of funk, metal, fruit on the nose. Blueberries and cheese. Tannic but not astringent, which is unusual. So weird but good! — 2 years ago
Rotten strawberry, raspberry, cheddar cheese aromas, mild tasting, — 2 years ago
This is a 50 50 blend of Syrah and mourvedre, the latter of which was added because it doesn't ripen as quickly, a problem the growers ran into growing Syrah on their soil.
It's a very dark, opaque, purple wine. The aroma is full, raspberry, tar, rose petals, vanilla. It's really tasty, chalky and b vitamins (which I like), bright, broad tannins (if that's a thing).

My first take on this wine on opening was that it was bit sweet, flat. Letting it breathe a bit and warm up a lot of lovely flavors come out. Aroma: fennel, lemon, honey, flowers. Taste: moderate minerality, a little sweet, good acid. — 2 years ago
