Fruit becoming more prominent. Actually preferred it before but still gorgeous. Fruit coming through. Roasted red pepper. Green and vegetal. Slight dark fruit hidden within. Evolving, but the more tannic, earth centric days seem behind it.

Dec 31st, 2016Bold dark purple and serious legs. On the palate its a mouthful. Big body, massive tannins that would put tannat to shame, earth, rustic old world dryness. Giving my wine palate some exercise with this one, but really incredible and unique.

Jul 9th, 2015Super luscious aroma, plum, smoke, char, chocolate. Taste it smokey but not spicy, burnt raisins and cherry. Little acid, and little tannin. The tannins actually emerge a bit letting the wine sit out, which in this case, is good.
