Never mad about opening Gonon. Delicious as always. Will be really incredible years down the line. — 7 months ago
Earthy and not giving away much initially, was worried after 20 mins. By 30 it blossomed, full on cassis and vanilla tannins, undergrowth. Dark red fruit, Rutherford dust. Notwithstanding a Bordeaux vibe there was no mistaking this for anything but a high-end Napa cab. Awesome one at that. I wouldn’t wait much longer… — 13 hours ago
Big flavour journey, fruity with a long finish — a month ago
Came off a little disjointed. Give it some as I see a bright future. The cab franc is noticeable in a good way with a dried herb note. — 14 days ago
Unanimously the Belle of the bunch, this was dripping with complexity tonight. Deep garnet with some browning towards the rim. The nose is vinous with bruised, ripe and desiccated strawberry, dried flowers, mushrooms and loads of sous bois; savory. Good structure still. Long finish. Drink now. — a month ago
Day and intense. Dried herbs, blood and deep fruit. Gorgeously savory and delicious and fresh. Spectacular. Definition and structure. Lots of class — 2 months ago

2019 vintage. As rustic as ever. Blood. Earth. Plum. Stems. Heavy body. A step or two above a solid workhorse but not flighty. Tremendous punch. Could be wrong but think this producer only does Saint Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage and both are great QPR. 10.30.24. — 6 days ago
