See Dominus note - a taste off of the two 1997s both from magnum. It was remarkable how the taste profiles were so similar with the Dominus having a little more camphor. Both excellent wines and I gave it to the Dominus by a point. The table vote gave it to the Wynns John Riddoch. No detailed tasting notes. — 22 days ago
Matured... classic Barossa nose of eucalyptus and tar, with ripe plum and boysenberry, dried violets, sage, anise, and olive tapenade. Fresh, ripe fruit hits first on the palate and is carried by acidity. Tannins are essentially resolved and integrated. Dark berry and raspberry fruit linger with enjoyable persistence. Cedar bark, clove and nutmeg shine on the mid-palate and carry to the finish. Enjoy now. — 11 days ago
Very good, a little sweeter than some. Very flavorful, fruit forward. Repeat — 22 days ago
Tremendous purity of fruit in this one. Beautiful peach and crisp ripe apple, along with a whisper of clean slatey minerality. Ripe in the mouth, with a note of apricot, and somewhere between Spatlese and Auslese in sweetness, though the alcohol, while not noticeable at at, is higher at 12.2%. Good acids and a hint of bitterness in the finish. — 13 days ago
This Napa Cabernet is very enjoyable. Still young and needs another few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Full bodied and smooth with black fruits and chocolate notes, vanilla, cedar, leather, spices, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Great nose with wild flowers.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
Needs 2 hours to open up properly and show the tannins.
Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.

Still young but high quality in all the right ways. Looking forward to opening the cellar one in 15 years. — 17 days ago
The ‘Conflict’ is a melange of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon with 48% Merlot and a dash of Malbec. Ripe red fruits dance with shades of anise and herbal undertones that take form in the glass. The palate has good freshness and minerality with medium-bodied red and dark fruit flavors, with a touch of milk chocolate. Drink 2019-2029- 91 — 5 days ago
Exquisite combination of cherries and bright red fruit. Paired with Thanksgiving dinner. — 10 days ago
