One of my favorite chardonnays. Soft and fresh — 9 months ago
Deep inky purple and not a trace of brick. Heavy tar and jam (not off-putting) on the nose and not surprisingly a bit of alcohol. Delicious balance of jaminess and ripe black fruit. Enjoy in next couple years though to taste the fruit. Drinking with berebere chicken and rice. — 3 years ago
Smokey, with a hint of cherries, strawberry jam, and vanilla. A little less “earthy” and a little softer than other vintages I have had by this producer. — 3 months ago
Deep ruby in color; blackberries, strawberries, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like raspberry jam, white pepper, and crushed gravel with a long fruity finish. There may be a little residual sugar, but it's well balanced and tasty. Nellie likes it and I do too. — 9 months ago
Deep ruby in color, almost purple; cassis, black cherries, and cedar on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black plums, berry jam, and baking spices with a medium finish. Nellie says it's ok, and I like it. We both think it goes well with a steak. — 8 months ago
