A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot with soft bright fruit aromas of dark fruits and herb spice notes. On the palate black cherry, berries and sweet dried fruit, cacao and licorice. Complex silky smooth tannins, great mouthfeel with a touch of gentle oak and minerality, long ending with fruit and floral notes.

Super structured and tannic cab sauv. While opened too early I can only imagine the story that would unfold over time. Cassis, raspberry jam, pencil, black cherry, clove, and a never ending length.

Color is deep ruby with a nose of black cherry jam, anise, and bits of violet and lavender. Full-bodied with great fruit and tannin structure. Leaves a bit of a jolly rancher aftertaste, which I like quite a bit. This could go another few years, but I like it now. Very nice. Had it in my new Zalto glass. The wife broke mine a couple years ago and they weren’t making them in 2020 and 2021 (at least it seems). She surprised me with a new glass for Christmas. Happy New Year everyone!

Deep ruby/purple in color, the aromas jump out of the glass on this wine. Blackberries, vanilla, pencil lead, and a hint of black pepper, but mostly blackberries with oak. Full-bodied this wine is bringing it. Amazing balance with fruit pumping across the long finish. Tannins are there but not overbearing. This is a very big, bold wine. So good, this wine could age for at least another 5 years, but it is super enjoyable now.

Loved this wine… still tight and slightly tannic but had a great upside.. beautiful dark berry profile with hints of oak and mint! Will be even better in a couple of years!!
