OZV Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel

Lighter purple in color. Very fruity throughout taste profile. Cooked cherries and raspberries, mild spice, not much. Juicy mouthfeel that lingers but not tannic at all. Neutral feelings about the finish and wine in general, not bad. (🎥 Lost Highway)

Strong fruity blend of berries aroma, like jam. Smooth, velvety delicately spicy taste with a mouth coating finish. Can sip or enjoy with food. Great wine for the price. Delicious.

Smooth and delicious

Ruby red, jammy, warm, balanced acidity, subtle lingering sweetness. Paired nicely with chocolate and a book on a chilly night.

Clear. Color of ruby with hues of purple on the rim. Nose of tobacco leaves, sweet currants, spice, a bit strawberry, and berry jam. Taste of good mix of acidity and sweetness, a bit spicy and zesty, a bit alcohol and low tannins, currant and berry note, milky and good flavors. Aftertaste of more bittersweetness, spicy, yet quite smooth and enjoyable.

Above Average.... just another hard day at the office

Enjoyable Zinfandel, not too hard on the palate and easy as you eat red meat and vegetables. Good well rounded wine to share!

Very dark, almost violet color. Deep dark flavors, mostly chocolate and currant. It’s a bit sugary side, but not too bad with the soft mouthfeel, giving it its “jammy with milk chocolate” as described on the bottle
