Still a good cab but not as good as previous vintages. A bit unfortunate, but this wine has gone full blown super market class. — 15 days ago
Inky, robust, smooth, heavy mouthfeel, brief lingering — a month ago
Nice nose but very tight:closed. Hugh perceived acid. Pleasant but not great. — 2 days ago
Medium ruby , quite wide ruby / garnet rim , but very little bricking . Very young looking . Quite deep on the nose with dusty spiced cassis and dark fruits and coffee , slightly toasty , leather. On the palate quite dark fruits , cassis , spiced plum , roasted peppers , with those coffee notes. Quite sweet on the mid palate with ripe but still noticeable tannin, good balanced and acidity and balanced alcohol . Pretty decent length with a leather , coffee tinged finish . Still drinking very well , and will do over the next 5-8 years . — 5 days ago
Very nice- survived many years and moves. Caught it before it went, very lovely, still solid fruit, balanced, soft tannins. Mom would have loved it. — 11 days ago
Color of deep purple with lighter shades on the rim. Nice tears. Nose of ample fragrance of currants. minty, vanilla, oaky, sweet note, and some more dark fruits. Taste is mouthful and chewy, quite sweet mixed with some spice, acidity, tart, strawberry, and some more vanilla. Aftertaste shows more strawberry, tangy, and a bit marginal tannin. On par. Like all the Freakshow wine, a bit too sweet for me. — a month ago
Dark maroon color. Jammy and fruit forward but not sweet - dark cherry, blackberry, raspberry, dark chocolate, warm spice. Medium body with smooth mouth feel and soft tannins. Paired well with homemade pizza (pepperoni, roasted mushrooms, onions and basil). Will make a very nice table wine - planning to pick up several bottles for upcoming family reunion! — a month ago
