One of my favorite zins. The vintages aren’t so far apart in quality, they always do well because of their harvest and control methods regardless of year. Fruit nose of blackberry and currant, velvet mouth feel, smooth on the palate. Thickness of a cab sav but less tannin or dryness. Fruit taste - strawberry, blackberry, extra light oak, bit of chocolate. Back of the throat is not sharp at all with light, pleasurable alcohol. — 14 days ago

Sharon Weeks blended fruit from a handful of small batches of Malbec to make a seriously big red wine.  This bold red shouts with fruits like black berry, raspberry, black cherry and plum. Not to mention hints of vanilla and cinnamon along with an incredibly balanced and round finish. Petite Petit Lodi Petite Sirah Petit Verdot 2016

Very pleasant aquitaintance. Intense blueberry on the nose with some blackcurrant undertones. The flavor is fiery with lots of blueberry, smooth blackcurrants and blackberry jam. I think I feel some hints of chocolate. But the jammy flavours are too overwhelming for me to be sure. — 13 days ago
