See previous Delectable notes for this Cuvee. Quite ripe and new world in this 2015 vintage. This is my last bottle of an original 6. This wine made by Australian, Jane Eyre who has worked in Burgundy for almost 25 years. The news earlier this year is that Jane will take over as winemaker at Domaine du Comte Armand in Pommard - an Estate owned by the Comte Armand family since 1828. Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, cinnamon notes, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. 2022 vintage. Poured slightly cloudy and remained that way throughout. Intriguing. So so close to rating a 9.2 but wanted a bit more depth and complexity on the finish. Mouthfeel and body were the dueling superstars here.
