This is such a bargain. $8.99 at Fred Meyer and just a classic Chardonnay. Nothing complicated but well-balanced and great with food. — 7 days ago
Smells richer, like meat, whereas taste is smooth and finessed. Slightly tannic with fresh dark berry notes — 2 days ago
#AgedWineTuesday.
This 10 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State is a nice surprise. Doesn't show its age at all, at this point.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate and good with food.
After a couple of hours of airtime it shows, red and black fruits with earth, wood, spices, peppercorn, bell pepper, vegetables, herbs, graphite and black coffee.
Nice finish with round tannins and tangy pomegranates.
Wine Enthusiasts 87 Points.
A little off balance, but has nice structure with a nice mouthfeel.
I've had it before, but at a younger age. Now it feels like a California Merlot, actually. Very interesting to try these kind of wines.
I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
Aged in French oak barrels (30% new).
13.9% alcohol by volume.

Cherry, currant, cranberry, bacon fat, mossy earth and oak. Light-bodied and moderate tannins. — 17 days ago
A great, strong bourbon. A bit of fruit on the finish, with a well balanced honey and oak flavor. — 4 days ago
$12. Very smooth hints of grapefruit goes with something light like a frittata. — 14 days ago
2018 vintage. The JS 94 point on the label is certainly far away from my findings. A pleasant fruity Malbec, good VFM. — 12 days ago

Pale yellow, excellent clarity. White floral and guava notes in nose and mouth, lemon peel, grapefruit and grapefruit pith flavor, guava with length and a touch of creaminess in finish. Dry, good body, almost tart. Mineral aftertaste — 6 days ago
