The 2022 Pinot Noir Aeolian is darkly floral, as a mix of dried violets, lavender and incense forms an enticing bouquet. This is soothingly round and supple, showing a lick of salty minerality up front that perfectly offsets its ripe wild berry fruits. The 2022 leaves the palate stained in primary concentration, with a bitter blackberry tinge and edgy tannins that make for a lovely punctuation to the experience. The Aeolian hails from vines planted in 2001 at 700 feet in the higher elevations of Bethel Heights. (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2024)

Great jammy Pinot enjoyed on Corey’s bday — 3 months ago
I was supremely surprised with this one…I would have paid twice the 129 NIS I paid in a wine bar for this. I have to find it in stores now. — 10 months ago
Nose: hint oak. Airy. Hint sea breeze. Lovely. White flowers.
Palate: lovely sweet oak. Sweet wood. Rich. Not over the top. — 3 months ago
This wine has a remarkable fruit profile on the nose, with lemon aromas being predominant. The is a slight herbal note along with a very reasonable amount of oak spice. The barrel aging, which was only seven months, comes on most noticeably on the palate, but the wood is used to great effect. — 8 months ago

Started very nice with some pepperish notes. Dissipated in a half an hour. — 2 months ago
