Popped and poured. Steely grey straw color in the glass with medium-viscosity. On the nose, minerals, green apples, peach, and pink flowers. On the palate, Granny Smith apple, lemon and an unbelievable amount of minerals. Medium+ acid and super long with a lovely texture. I’m suddenly craving a pool and a dozen oysters. Alas, it’s late November and I’m in Nebraska. — 4 years ago

Blend of Pinotage (84%) and Cinsault (16%). Interesting Garnet/Magenta/Ruby color. Aromas of sour berry/cherry fruit, wet stones and a funky (not unpleasant) musky note. Juicy red cherry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit on the palate with hints of mineral and earth. Very tangy on the medium finish. Fine tannins and soft texture. Quite fresh tasting and complex. No signs of oak aging. Two very complimentary blending partners. Interesting. — 4 months ago
This is amazing. A rush of rock pool, salinity, yellow fruit, soft citrus on the nose. Loads of slatey mineral and rock. On the palate this expands and expands. It’s just amazing how this is so complex but restrained and in place. Just wow. — 5 years ago
Always suspect of ‘cute’ labels. But this is pretty tasty for an inexpensive Aussie Shiraz. Lots of fruit- strawberry- a bit of white pepper- light tannins- 14%. Would be a nice cook out wine. Hard to dislike. — 3 months ago
