Régnié Gamay

Solid beauj. Lightweight with super soft (if any) tannins. Nose has an overriding vegetal characteristic. Mildest cherry finish. — 11 hours ago

Terroir de Granit St. Joseph Syrah 2019

Delicious. A medium bodied, lifted Syrah. Very nice acids buoying the bloody, minerally flavors along. Tannins largely resolved. — 5 months ago

Expression de Granite Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Melon de Bourgogne 2010

14 years in, this is taut minerality with some floral as well, great acidity, still has some time to go, though I’d say it’s mature now, very nice!! — 5 months ago

Love this stuff: underrated varietal & Bossard is a master: pale straw colored, fresh citrus, salinity & minerals galore. This is a lean angular assassin. We had fish tacos - just fantastic. These are age-worthy so no hurry to drink — 4 months ago

Domaine de l'Ecu (Guy Bossard)

Mephisto Cabernet Franc 2015

We first had this in Amboise, France. I did find a bottle in the US. Opened it today and makes me remember why we loved it so much. Juicy and red fruits. Still has some structure as a 9 year old wine. Very nice acidity. Lots of raspberry and cassis notes. We enjoyed it on our patio! — 2 months ago

Domaine Amiot Guy et Fils

Les Champgains Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2020

2024/9/2-3. There’s some young austerity, but with air the aromas really open, with salted lemon, stone, smoky minerals, flowers and judicious oak. In the palate it’s still quite tight, with ample acid and and austere structure - enjoyable but a bit gangly compared to what it will be at peak. Still, I understand Amiot has lengthened maturation times to near two years, and to me, those echoes of old school producers are very welcome — 4 months ago
