Bloom's Field Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2022

Second time tasting this wine. Still not convinced. Too hyped. But starting slightly better than last. — 8 days ago

Grgich Hills Estate

Napa Valley Chardonnay 2020

The entirety of Napa Valley white wine condensed into a bottle. Little sweet, but mostly dry and a good bit of acid. Delicate aromas of pear, apricot, and a little hint of barrel in there. On the palate it's minerally upfront with the aforementioned fruits and a crisp dry finish. The little bit of age was not a detractor, I would absolutely drink this again and share it around. — a day ago

Sea Spray Blanc de Noirs Sta. Rita Hills Sparkling Pinot Noir 2018

These are getting better. The last one I had was a bit wound up but this one was expressing juicy flavors of cherry and ginger with fine bubbles. — a month ago

Perfect golden color. This wine is so amazing and complex I could spend an hour describing it. Super deep, a swirl in your mouth for minutes wine. Long finish that smoothers the palate. Insane juice!! — 2 months ago

La Source Seven Springs Pinot Noir 2019

Delectable Wine
9.4

A smoky blend of crushed raspberries, sage, cola and crushed stones creates a seductive bouquet as the 2019 Pinot Noir La Source comes to life in the glass. This is soft yet lifted in feel, with tart red and blue fruits that swirl throughout as violet inner florals resonate toward the close. The 2019 finishes perfumed and long with an air of lavender and a tart blackberry twang that lingers over a bed of well-rounded tannins. This is the first vintage in which Sashi Moorman was entirely happy with the structural balance achieved in the Pinot Noir La Source. I must admit, it's a compelling wine.
