Night 1 of the Fall WNH event in San Antonio. What a killer start to the extended weekend, all courtesy to Shawn and Jennifer for hosting! Tonight was Italian wines.
Leave it to @Bill Bender to bring a 3L of this! Floral nose of roses and bright cherry. Vibrant. Muddled raspberries, tobacco, and candied cherries with violet. Drinking so well out of a double mag with tons of life in it. A top wine of the night! — 8 days ago
F’n fabulous! The 2007 is so smooth and beautiful... smoky and chocolatey. — 4 days ago
From one of the worlds highest bodegas (1800m). Succesful blend of Gran Corte Malbec and Cab Franc; very agreable! — 5 days ago
Happy International Tempranillo day!
Nose of under-ripe cherry juiced onto dry soil, old leather and a light, green herbal note.
Palate has raspberry/cherry juice, tannins still lightly grip, mashed green & red peppers, faint cedar profile.
80% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 5% Mazuelo & 5% Granciano — 8 days ago
Very good Argentina Malbec, spicy and delicious. — 2 days ago
Fantastic. Fruit, depth, acidity all there and a lime scale / stone finish almost slightly bitter which balanced off what could have been too sweet and soft. — 6 days ago
Morango no olfato. No paladar um pouco "rústico", o que mostra muito potencial para guarda. — a day ago
Easy drinking, smooth. Great with short ribs and pork chops — 3 days ago
