Excellent Shiraz from Australia — 4 months ago
This estate owes its name to Connetable Talbot, the English general & governor of the province of Guyenne who was defeated at the famous Battle of Castillon in 1453. Aromas of sweet black fruits with floral and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry & blueberry with cacao and tobacco spice, on a well balanced frame. Fine rustic tannins, long savory ending with fruit, spice and cedar character. — 3 years ago

I haven’t had this wine since the late 2000’s.
As good as I remember it.

An exceptional value and probably my favorite bottling of their Langhe Nebbiolo to date. So typical - could certainly have mistaken for the general produttori barbaresco. At $23 just ridiculous- should have bought a couple cases. Interesting to see this is the clearly highest rated vintage of this wine on Delectable. — 4 years ago
Lovely and sweet and not tannic. Doesn't take long to aerate. Plum and jam. Beaut. — 4 months ago
After finding Australian cabs so and so, I am pivoting back to Shiraz. That’s where AUS shines, and this wine is a great example. Deep and intense flavors, structure and a long finish. Delicious. — a year ago
Smooth. Good all rounder, you couldn’t be offended by it — 4 years ago
