I wish I still had some of these 01 Jerichos. This wine tastes like Mouton Rothschild in a great year. One of the best 01 Cabs. I want to try this wine now to see how it’s holding up and how it’s developed. This was when I noticed the alcohol levels getting higher on Cabs but no hotness or alcohol flavors here. This has it all. the layers of complexity, the creme de cassis, lead pencil and perfectly ripened dark fruit. Very well balanced and fun to drink.

Omg this was outrageous. 15 years young - still powerful and silky

I purchased this on release and was sadly disappointed with the muddled and stewed characteristic if the fruit.

Good wine, mellow and showing well. Not as structured as other 2001, but in a nice window today. Black cherry, baking spices, apple peel, subtle but full tannins. Drink up!

Drinking beautifully. Fruit is still there. Very mellow. Terroir coming through. Smooth tannins. Even better night two.

I general I drink Ramey wines. This was another very good cab. Chewy traditional style cab. My favorite type. It has aged well .

Sadly, just slightly corked. Last bottle, lovingly cellared for 10 years. 😣

This wine is singing. Tannin and fruit slow dancing to palate perfection. Blind could be mistaken for1989 Pomerol...
