Surprised nicely by this expressive nose that goes on and on with layers of aromas such as blackcurrant, plum, moka, cedar, vanilla and licorice. The mouth is medium bodied and very approachable right now, medium tannins with some softness and silkyness in terms of texture, fruit and balance as well on a finish that has decent length and is very good, drinks like a charm. Comparable to a good Bordeaux but no need to wait 10+ years. 92-93
— 10 days ago
Dark ruby in color with a short brick rim. Not showing age much.
Great nose of blackberries, black currants, cedar, vanilla, licorice, earth, green olives, spices, peppercorn, chocolates, tobacco and graphite.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with and fruity with black currants, blackberries, dried figs, smoke, spices, dark coffee, pencil lead, earth, peppercorn, leather and tobacco.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious 15 year old Napa Cabernet from Oakville. Showing great complexity with a great mouthfeel. Elegant and gracious. Soft, yet powerful.
This Single Vineyard has a great nose, especially right out of the bottle.
Peaked a few years ago, and will continue to age very nicely in the next 10 years.
96 points Robert Parker. Thank you Mike for sharing this with me.
Good by itself or with food. Will pair wonderfully with a nice piece of steak. Loved sipping on it all by itself. Delicious.
A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Drinking beautifully. Fruit is still there. Very mellow. Terroir coming through. Smooth tannins. Even better night two. — 11 days ago
One of my all time favorites. Pulled it out of my cellar with grilled ribeyes. ~10 years after release it is still vibrant, fruit forward, with light oak and graphite underneath. Last had the ‘08 about 3 years ago and have a few more tucked away. — 24 days ago
First time I tried this vineyard was from Rudd when david Ramey was making wine there in the late 1990’s. Delicious — 11 days ago
