Ramey Wine Cellars

Rodger's Creek Vineyard Syrah 2009

First experience with the ‘09 Ramey Rodgers Creek Syrah some 15 years after harvest. Shows beautifully still. Inky, minerality and dark fruits on the nose, incredibly smooth on the palate with graphite, earth, plum, brambly blackberry and more. Powerful now with some years left. — 12 days ago

Claret Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2015

Ramey’s interpretation of #claret is quite interesting. After 9 years of bottle time it’s aged more than expected. Stewed plum, quite faint dark fruit on the nose. Prominent acidity on palate, primary fruit exited stage left, some sherry notes but still noticeable tannins. 68% #cabernetsauvignon, 18% #merlot, 6% #syrah, 4% #malbec, 4% #petitverdot — 9 months ago

I love their chards. Especially the high-end stuff… even the regular chard is exceptional, but at $75, also not cheap.9

@Ron R Agree. Hard to find unless on their mailing list, so whenever I get the chance, I close my eyes and hand em my credit card. Cheers!
