What a fantastic and out of the ordinary wine. Strong taste of passion fruit, green apple, and some pineapple. Fruity, but tart not sweet. Really enjoyed this. — 5 months ago

At my Chardonnay Challenge of 6 wines with very close scores the Heytesbury finished 6th. I still gave it 95 points and a Gold Medal. HH said “powerful grapefruit and citrus - Gingin/Mendoza clones and 97 points “. A semi regular annual purchase for me. — 2 months ago

Medium deep ruby garnet core and garnet rim. Sweet plummy fruit , touch of spice and vanilla , violets . On the palate round and ripe with plum , damson , dark cherry and black tea hints . Balanced acidity , quite rounded tannins , touch of warmth on the anis tinged finish . This is firmly in its drinking window and shows it can stay at this level for a while longer , now and over the next 5 years. — 2 months ago
