TA was incredible in this blind - the bottle colour was a dead giveaway for the region, but to have centred in on Pradikat and vintage as quick as he did was a feat to behold. Crazy! Langwerth von Simmern 1978 Hattenheimer Nussbrunnen Eiswein-Beerenauslese. Still holding on to a wicked amount of acidity, even though it was a touch “dirty”. CVed 8/23/17 comp of three Spats. Nose of honeysuckle and ripe fruits and a hint of petrol. Nice golden color. Medium body with acids coming through and good finish that ends with acids. Cantelop. Opened 10/3/17. Went with Laila spicy Beef noodle soup. — 7 years ago
