Lovely Barbaresco, a bit light in color but nice in taste.
Not too heavy but brings a nice flavor of full body.
Not so tart and harsh as the one 2 days agon from Verduno.
The owners of the Vineyard Ca del Baio are 3 sisters, one went to school with Alessandro from Casa Ressia.
Excellent price for this wine.

Apparently not a great vintage for Barolo and it showed, albeit from one of my favorite producers. — 4 months ago
This was cherries in a bottle. Tart, bright red and black cherries. Slight earthy component. Was slightly overpowered by some of the cheeses on the board but was a good pairing. Put a slight chill on it to 65 degrees. — 2 months ago

Not a restaurant wine right now. Tasted about 4 weeks ago. And now again. A top vintage. Light in color, classic. This needs another 5-10 years. Who has the space and patience? Powerful mouth puckering tannins. But I have no doubt this will turn into an elegant beauty! The store picked up 3 cases based on my recommendation. Roses, violets and even white flowers. Cherries 🍒. Touch bitter, perhaps a hint of stone-fruit. Apricots! Brooding right now. But that will change! — 20 days ago
