Can't find much on this wine. One of my Wine Bid purchases (like 35 bucks). Nice age on it, color beginning to round the crimson corner. Massive chocolate on the nose. Letting it open more...
After an hour... Aromatics are quite nice but the flavor dies quickly on the palate. I guess it's past peak. Or perhaps not stellar to begin with.

Quite the interesting blend of French Columbard (53%), Gewurtztraminer (32%), Zinfandel (10%) and Albariño (5%). Dark salmon color created by seven day skin contact. Aromas and flavors of ripe oranges and nectarines with additional notes of grapefruit, pine resin and tropical fruit. Hint of salted roasted nuts on the finish. Crisp acidity and wonderfully funky. Really appreciate this bottle, Petey! Revisited in March 2026. So interesting! On top of the above, noticing additional lanolin and wet hay aromas. — 2 years ago
