Hollera Listan Negro

Carbonic maceration Listán negro -- all the fruit and all the bubblegummy deliciousness without all the green flavor Listán can have on the edges. Surprisingly approachable, maybe even more so than Beaujolaos nouveau?

Carbonic. Super juicy and easy going. Still managed to take me to a place I felt I hadn't been before.

Fizzy and cheerful. Peppery and cherry candy. Easy drinking wine.

Sort of like a riper Touraine Gamay from a naturaliste. Fairly smoky in a way that would make an associative taster refer to volcanos. Probably rogue yeasts or nutrient deficiencies, but it's a convenient flavor profile.

Spice and pepper and POW! You can taste the smoke in this fella. Need BBQ.

Always been my favorite of the Canary Carbonicos. Prettier and not as greens as his brothers.

Lots of carbonic character, fairly structured for the style, a little harsh by itself, but fantastic with Mexican food.

Bodega monje

Full bodied. Dark fruit.

Complex, spicy treat - lots of white pepper balanced out with purple fruit. Medium bodied on the lighter side.
